Princeton Professor to Give Lecture About Achievement at Charter Schools

Will S. Dobbie, assistant professor of economics and public affairs at Princeton University, will give a lecture about academic achievement at charter schools at noon Friday, Feb. 13, on the University of Arkansas campus.

Dobbie's lecture is titled "The Medium-Term Impacts of High-Achieving Charter Schools." He is also a faculty research fellow at National Bureau of Economic Research and the Education Innovation Laboratory at Harvard University.

The lecture is part of the series sponsored by the department of education reform and is free and open to the public. It starts at noon in Room 343 of the Graduate Education Building, and RSVP is requested for a light lunch. RSVP online by 1 p.m. Feb. 11.
