U of A Nursing Graduate in New Training Position with UAMS Clinics

University of Arkansas graduate Cheryl Hollingshead, a registered nurse, recently took a new position as an instructional designer for the EpicCare system in the ambulatory population of clinics that are part of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.

Hollingshead is a 2012 graduate of the Eleanor Mann School of Nursing in the College of Education and Health Professions. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a Clinical Nurse Specialist concentration delivered online through the University of Arkansas Global Campus.

Hollingshead’s position oversees credentialed trainers who train all new staff and provide ongoing training for changes and additions to the system. She also works with staff in the ambulatory areas for support and additional training needs specific to the functionality of the system and workflow of the clinic to provide optimal patient-centered care.

The UAMS system has about 70 clinics.
