Students Invited to SHAC Meeting Today

Students are invited to attend the Student Health Advisory Committee meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, in Pat Walker Health Center room 283.

The committee will have a guest speaker, discuss ways to better health and wellness programs for students on campus, as well as how to get involved with SHAC on campus. Food will be provided at the meeting. All students are welcome and encouraged to attend.

SHAC is a registered student organization that acts as a liaison between the health center and the students at the University of Arkansas. SHAC helps to ensure that students receive quality healthcare on campus. SHAC assists in the delivery of information about the Health Center's varied services, promotes healthy lifestyles and participates in health promotion activities. SHAC members will also review current policies and programs and make recommendations to committee advisers and Health Center administration. The committee meets bi-weekly at the Pat Walker Health Center.
