The story follows a young Native American woman and her fictional romance with Virginia Company’s John Smith, voiced by Mel Gibson. The film has grossed almost $350 million worldwide. The film also won two Academy Awards, one Golden Globe and one Grammy Award. The song “Colors of the Wind” is still well known to the world today.
