FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The 80th annual University of Arkansas Live United campaign will be different this year.

For one thing, it will be shorter – an intensive one month fundraising drive starting Oct. 1.

For another, it has a new theme – Everyday Heroes Live United – to recognize the staff and faculty on campus who support the United Way and the people of Northwest Arkansas, through their actions or their financial support.

These are people whose contributions make a difference Every Day.

Some of those Everyday Heroes, of course, are the volunteers who will help make this year’s campaign a success.

Volunteers are needed to help spread the word about the Everyday Heroes campaign in all the departments and units on campus.

They’ll also be needed to help out with the kick off and wrap up parties.

Yes, parties.

The Everyday Heroes Live United team wants to make this campaign fun for everyone on campus. So there will be parties, and food, and prizes, and celebration.

More about that later.

Right now, to volunteer, contact campaign coordinator Debbie McLoud, at dmcloud@uark.edu.

Everyday Heroes Live United is one of two campus wide University of Arkansas fundraising  campaigns each year. It’s an opportunity to contribute – not an obligation. Please make the most of it.
