Managerial Leadership Program Offers Discounted Rate to University Employees

University of Arkansas Human Resources and the Sam M. Walton College of Business have collaborated to provide University employees with an opportunity to attend the Managerial Leadership Series at a cost of $600 per person for the entire series. This is a wonderful opportunity for supervisors and managers to develop their management and leadership skills without having to leave campus.

The sessions offered in the Managerial Leadership Series build upon the foundation established through the curriculum of Human Resources’ Supervisor Development Program. Topics include:

  • The Generations at Work
  • Understanding Non-Verbal Communication
  • Developing Capable People
  • Engaging and Guiding Emotions in the Workplace
  • Performance Management
  • Ethical Behavior and the Workplace
  • Resolving and Managing Conflict

The fall Managerial Leadership Series is scheduled for Oct. 16-17 and Nov. 6-7. The sessions will be held from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. each day in the Donald W. Reynolds Center. To receive the discounted rate of $600 per person, employees must commit to attend all sessions scheduled on those dates and register through Human Resources.

Please contact Andrew Chandler if you are a university employee interested in attending this program. To view additional information about the Managerial Leadership Series, visit the Walton College of Business’ website.
