'That's so 6%' Mini-Education Sessions Continue Wednesday
RESPECT will offer more mini-education sessions this Wednesday for the “That’s so 6%” campaign and T-shirt giveaway.
Students, faculty and staff are welcome to come for a session to learn more about the “That’s so 6%” movement and receive a shirt to help create change.
The 15-minute sessions will begin at noon in Pat Walker Health Center room 242 on Wednesday, Sept. 17, and continue until 3 p.m. with the last session beginning at 2:45 p.m.
The “That’s so 6%” campaign is running strong with over 200 students, staff and faculty enthusiastically participating in the first week of the campaign.
“That’s so 6%” is a student-led initiative developed for the purpose of giving people a tool to call out remarks that overlook, dismiss or excuse perpetrators of sexual violence while blaming victims and continuing rape culture.
T-shirts are distributed on a first-come, first-size preference basis and as long as available. For details about “That’s so 6%,” visit respect.uark.edu/thats-so-6.
