A new wellness group is being offered to students, faculty and staff in the Pat Walker Health Center. WELLGroup, offered through the Wellness and Health Promotion department, is designed to engage participants in the principles and practices of wellness.

The group will meet weekly throughout the semester and integrate educational activities, individual behavior change contracting, experiential training and practice, and wellness coaching during the sessions.

WELLGroup begins Thursday, Sept. 4, in Pat Walker Health Center room 283. The group will meet every Thursday from 2:30-3:30 p.m. There is no fee for this program and you can come as your schedule allows.

Topics will include creating your own well-life vision, becoming more resilient, developing effective coping skills, and holistic health and wellness. The ongoing threads of WELLGroup are yoga and mindfulness.
