New Clicker Software Released, Workshop Planned August 6

FAYETTEVILLE -- A new version of the university-standard clicker software has been released for classroom use beginning fall semester. The new software protects student privacy with a secure login feature and file encryption.

The software, TurningPoint Cloud, offers faculty access to instant reports of student clicker responses with a new real-time feature. In addition, it automatically generates classroom rosters, takes attendance and records graded clicker responses.

A workshop to familiarize faculty with the new clicker software and demonstrate integration of clickers into the classroom will be held from 1 to 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6. Additional limited-seating workshops are scheduled for August 14, 19 and 20. View workshop times and register at https://edp.uark.edu/register_schedules.php?courseID=10260.
