The University of Arkansas student radio station, KXUA 88.3, is now offering 10- to 20-second advertisement spots free of charge to registered student organizations at the university. By offering this service, KXUA hopes to provide your RSO with a new avenue for increasing visibility and interest in your organization – all at no cost to you!  The volunteer DJs at KXUA will read two announcements an hour on the air.

To submit a request for an on-air announcement, please visit kxua.uark.edu and click on the “Submit a PSA” link near the top of the page.  KXUA staff will review all requests and approve them based on a few guidelines:

  • Timeliness – requests must be submitted no less than 10 days before your event!
  • Relevance – requests must refer to an event/activity that is relevant to the U of A community.
  • Status – in order to be approved, your RSO must be in “Active” status with the Office of Student Activities.

Announcements will run periodically from the date they are approved until the date of your event; no more announcements will be made for an event after the date of the event has passed.

Please be considerate of other student organizations when submitting your requests; keep in mind that KXUA will only approve a maximum of four requests per RSO per academic year. We hope that you consider taking advantage of this fantastic and free marketing opportunity provided by KXUA!
