ROGERS, Ark. – Registration is now open at the University of Arkansas Global Campus for an 11-session program for human resource professionals preparing for certification exams or seeking to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Participants can register online for the Society for Human Resource Management Learning System sessions set for 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, Aug. 28 through Nov. 6, live online or in classrooms in Rogers and Conway.

The classes are designed as a tool for human resource professionals preparing to take the Professional in Human Resources or the Senior Professional in Human Resources certification exam administered by the Human Resource Certification Institute. They are also for those seeking continuing professional development and a broad overview of the field.

This course is offered in partnership with the Society for Human Resource Management, and students can learn in a face-to-face environment or via live, interactive video-over-Internet webcast. Classroom locations include the Global Campus facility in Rogers, 3300 Market Street, Suite 402, and Central Baptist College in Conway.

Participants will increase their knowledge of the field of human resources and explore current human resource practices, including updates on policies and legislation. As a certification preparation tool, the program has a measurable track record of success for those qualified to sit for the exam. Visit www.hrci.org for 2014 exam costs and application dates.

The course cost of $1,200 includes 11 class sessions, the Learning System books, access to Blackboard Collaborate, an unlimited number of practice tests on www.learnhrm.com, and all recorded sessions. Please note the course investment does not cover registration for certification exams.

By enrolling in this course, students will benefit from instructors who are experts in the industry; Web resources and mobile applications; a structured learning environment; and the opportunity to build a peer network.
