Beverly Wade accepts the employee of the quarter award presented by Javier Reyes, vice provost for distance education.

Beverly Wade, institutional compliance analyst, was named employee of the third quarter by the University of Arkansas Global Campus.

Wade works in the office of compliance and quality assurance. That office collaborates with state officials across the nation to ensure the University of Arkansas is authorized or exempted from authorization in each state that is home to students who participate in U of A programs and courses.

While playing a key role in the university's compliance efforts, Wade also shares her expertise with educators and administrators nationwide by serving on Web conference panels and speaking at events. Wade also collaborates with U of A faculty and administrators regarding internal compliance processes.

The Global Campus initiated an employee recognition program in 2013 to formally recognize outstanding achievement and accomplishments that relate to the unit's goals and the mission of the University of Arkansas.

The third quarter's nominees were Rebecca Morrison, Dorothy Harris, Jessica Shabatura and Shelly Walters.

The honoree is selected by a vote of all Global Campus employees. The award winner receives a commemorative plaque and a monetary award.
