Red, White & True Thanks and Cupcakes!

The 2014 Red, White & True effort wrapped up this week, and the volunteer team wants to say a big thank you to every faculty and staff member who participated! Co-chairs Richard Hudson and Yvette Murphy-Erby will be revealing the results during this year’s celebration event on May 21 from 3:30-5 p.m. at University House, so they hope you’ll join them for ice cream and the big announcement.

In the meantime, we want to recognize nine additional departments that reached the 50 percent participation mark in the last few weeks. To celebrate and show our appreciation, red velvet cupcakes will be delivered today to the groups listed below.  The UARK Federal Credit Union has generously provided these sweet treats, and we want to thank them once again for their loyal sponsorship of Red, White & True over the years.

The newest departments to reach or exceed 50 percent participation in the 2014 Red, White & True effort are:

  • Applied Sustainability Center (100%)
  • Architecture Department (53%)
  • New Student and Family Programs (50%)
  • Student Activities (50%)
  • Theatre Department (55%)
  • Office of the Vice Provost for Research and Economic Development (57%)
  • Walton College Dean’s Office (60%)
  • Walton College Office of External Relations (100%)
  • Walton College Undergraduate Programs (50%)

Congratulations to these groups, and thanks again to everyone who participated!

Note: Participation figures were pulled on April 29.
