Mathematical Sciences will host Elena Pavelescu, director of the Mathematics Learning Success Center at Oklahoma State University, at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 1, in SCEN 322. Pavelescu will present “Oriented matroids and straight-edge embeddings of graphs.”
A reception will take place prior to the talk at 3 p.m. in SCEN 350.
The event is open to the public.
