Emergency Maintenance Planned Due to Network Outage

A brief but widespread network outage affected Internet access and university applications at approximately 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, for about 10 minutes. The outage was caused by the accidental loss of power during planned UPS maintenance in the Harmon Avenue Garage.

Due to the outage, IT Services will perform emergency network maintenance on the border Internet router from 5 to 6 a.m. on Wednesday, April 30. During the maintenance, off-campus users may be unable to access university applications, and on-campus users may be unable to access outside services, for example, facebook.com.
