Results from 2013 Educause Undergraduate Survey Now Available
Last year, 595 University of Arkansas students participated in the Educause Center for Analysis and Research study of undergraduate students and information technology. More than 112,000 undergraduate students were surveyed nationwide, providing a benchmark for comparing University of Arkansas student responses to overall aggregated data from 220 higher education institutions.
Since 2010, the University of Arkansas has participated in this annual study, which seeks to learn what types of technologies are being used by students and at what skill level. Other topics include students’ perceptions of the advantages and values in using technology, how students experience IT in the classroom, and what obstacles students face in their use of technology.
Key findings and recommendations from the Educause study will be used by the U of A Information Technology Services and other campus units to support the University of Arkansas’ goal to improve technology resources, as well as the Top 50 research university initiative.
