Free Concert to Feature Jewish Music

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Tulsa Klezmer Band will perform an evening of Jewish music in a free concert scheduled for 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 6, in the Arkansas Union Theatre.

Klezmer is traditional Eastern Europe Jewish music that features the clarinet, guitar and violin, among other instruments. The concert will be followed by a free reception. The Legacy Heritage Jewish Studies Project, directed by the Association for Jewish Studies, is sponsoring the event, along with the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences.
