Students, Get Involved: Apply to Participate on All-University Academic Integrity Board

The All-University Academic Integrity Board is currently accepting applications for undergraduate and graduate students to participate during fall 2014/spring 2015 semesters. The board, which consists of faculty and students, is a prestigious volunteer opportunity and a great way to get involved and serve the campus. The Academic Integrity Board is responsible for reviewing contested allegations of academic dishonesty and contested sanctions referred by the Academic Integrity Monitor. Members of the board are expected to:

  • Ensure fair and equitable treatment of all who come before you.
  • Consider all evidence fully and carefully before arriving at a decision.
  • Treat all students who appear before you with dignity and respect.
  • Adhere to the rules of confidentiality.

Qualified candidates meet the following guidelines:

  • Undergraduate students who have at least 12 hours of university credit, a 2.5 GPA, and are in good academic and disciplinary standing are eligible to apply.
  • Graduate Students who are in good academic and disciplinary standing are eligible to apply.

The board meets monthly on a rotating schedule of Tuesday and Friday afternoons (2-5 p.m.). Applicants who wish to apply must be available during at least one of these times.
