Classroom Tips Topic of April New Faculty Lunch Discussion
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Practical tips for making a large class
feel small will be the discussion topic at the next new faculty luncheons
sponsored by the Wally Cordes Teaching and Faculty Support Center.
The luncheons are scheduled for noon on Thursday, April 3, and Friday, April 4, in rooms 513-514 in the Arkansas Union. Reservations for the taco buffet luncheons need to be made today by noon by calling 479-575-3222 or by e-mail, tfsc@uark.edu.
The luncheons are intended for faculty who are in their first two years of teaching at the U of A. Presenters on Thursday, April 3, will be Janine Parry, a professor of political science, and Lorraine Brewer, an instructor in the department of chemistry and biochemistry. Presenters on Friday, April 4, will be Neil Allison, an associate professor of chemistry and biochemistry, and Jim Gigantino, an assistant professor of history.
