Dr. Ted J. Fish will present "Lipids and Coronary Heart Disease" from 12:130-1:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, in Room D-2 of the Food Science Building, 2650 N. Young Ave. Everyone is welcome to attend!

Fish is an invasive/interventional cardiologist who also has special training in non-invasive techniques of nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. He holds a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Harding University in Searcy, Ark.  He received his medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1979. His internal medicine internship and residency were performed at the University of Oklahoma. Fish completed his cardiology fellowship at the University Health Science Center in Oklahoma City.

Fish is a founding member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. He is an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences-Area Health and Education Center. He currently serves as medical director of Walker Heart Institute Cardiac Rehabilitation and as medical director of the Coronary Care Unit at Washington Regional Medical Center. Fish is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease.
