Reaccreditation Reviewers Approve Proposed Quality Initiative for Campus
The University of Arkansas is in the mid-cycle for reaccreditation from the Higher Learning Commission. As part of the reaccreditation process, the university submitted its Quality Initiative Proposal to the Higher Learning Commission in December. This proposal establishes the initiative for which the university will be evaluated. The Higher Learning Commission's Quality Initiative reviewers approved the proposal this month.
With this step complete, the university will move forward in implementing the proposal's initiatives to increase retention, graduation, and degree completion rates. The complete proposal, developed by the university's Quality Initiative steering committee, is available at the provost's website. The comments from the review team can also be found at this website.
