German for Kids

Would you like to spend a fun afternoon teaching German to kids?

The German Club will host another after-school workshop from 4 to 5 p.m. March 20 at the Fayetteville Public Library. In the past, this event was always a great success, both for the university students and the children.

During the one hour workshop, students talk to the children about German culture, e.g. German fairy-tales, teach the children a little bit of German and play games. If you are interested in helping the German club, contact Rieke Brodé at rkbrode@uark.edu. Don’t be shy: any and all German students are welcome!

Parents can sign up their kids (grades K-5th) through the Fayetteville Library website or at the library’s children’s desk.
