Mulvenon to Speak at National Education Conference
University of Arkansas professor Sean Mulvenon will be a featured presenter Feb. 17 during the winter conference of the Education Research and Development Institute in Nashville, Tenn. He will take part in a presentation titled “Advancing 21st Century Education in the U.S.”
The group exists to allow educational leaders the opportunity to influence the development, refinement and delivery of products and services to education systems in the United States with the goal that these products and services best meet the needs of children.
Topics of the Feb. 17 meeting of corporate members of the group will include academic achievement, graduation, technology, early childhood and workforce readiness.
Mulvenon is a professor of educational statistics and research methods in the College of Education and Health Professions. He also serves as director of research assessment and promotions in the office of the vice provost for research and economic development and as director of the National Office for Research on Measurement and Evaluation Systems.
