Deadline: ASG 2014-2015 Executive Candidate Applications Due Tomorrow

Applications are now available for candidates interested in running for the Associated Student Government 2014-15 academic year executive positions of president, vice president, secretary and treasurer. Candidates can find a packet with petitions and deadlines on the ASG website at asg.uark.edu. Petitions are due by noon Feb. 19 to the office of student activities, ARKU A665. The application forms are available at http://asgforms.uark.edu and are also due on Feb. 19 at noon to the office of student activities. 

Applicants must collect 50 verified signatures in order to complete the application process. Applicants, therefore, should get at least 60 signatures in case any signature proves invalid. Signatures must be from current students enrolled in at least one credit hour at the University of Arkansas. The office of student activities will certify the enrollment of each student who has signed the petition by providing name, signature and student ID number. 

All applicants must be full time University of Arkansas students who meet co-curricular requirements. In addition, students interested in serving as ASG president must have served in ASG for at least one semester prior to the election application process.   

Elections will commence at 9 a.m. March 10 and conclude at 4 p.m. March 13 at vote.uark.edu.

No late applications or petitions will be accepted.
