ASG, Full Circle Pantry Encourage Student Participation in Meal Donation Drive

As the semester is ending, the Associated Student Government encourages students to donate a meal by giving $5 cash or FLEX to University of Arkansas community members in need.

"Being a Razorback isn't just about getting your name onto the Senior Walk; it's about caring for those names etched around your own. It is my belief that no student here at the University of Arkansas should go to bed hungry,” ASG President Bo Renner said.

Through Dec. 20 in Pomfret, Union Food Court, Brough Commons and Fulbright Dining Halls, you can donate a meal to a student in need by giving $5 cash or FLEX dollars.

“Associated Student Government, in cooperation with Chartwells, is excited to give students the opportunity to help their friends, classmates and the entire Razorback community by donating a meal to someone in need,” Renner said.

All donations go to the Full Circle Campus Food Pantry to be distributed to student, faculty, or staff in need.

“Full Circle is so excited to be partnering with ASG to make this program possible. The end of the semester is a great time to use some extra flex for the purpose of helping out our fellow classmates. The meal vouchers will be available to students through the pantry, counselors and other student services. If there are any departments interested in receiving these vouchers to distribute please contact the Full Circle at pantry@uark.edu,” Full Circle Food Pantry Coordinator Rachel Pellegrino said.
