For University of Arkansas graduates, the connection to their alma mater starts with the Arkansas Alumni Association. All fall 2013 graduates and their families are invited to the Graduate Farewell at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, at the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House to kick off their commencement celebration.

During the event, seniors can pick up their official Senior Walk T-shirt, sign the Senior Walk banner, take photos with friends and family in the photo booth, and enjoy hors d'oeuvres, cake and a special toast to graduates. A special senior slideshow will feature photos of graduates' college years. Seniors may submit photos by sending them to saa@uark.edu.

The first 250 students who check in at the reception will also receive a free Razorback Tervis Tumbler courtesy of Bank of America.

Please register at www.arkansasalumni.org/gradfarewell or call 575-2802 by Dec. 11.
