U of A Professor Co-Authors Award-Winning Paper

Kathleen Collins, University of Arkansas professor of special education, was honored by the Mid-South Research Association for a paper she co-wrote with Anthony Onwuegbuzie of Sam Houston State University.

Onwuegbuzie and Collins received the James E. McLean Distinguished Research Paper Award at the annual conference of the association in Pensacola, Fla.

Their paper is titled "The role of Bronfenbrenner ecological systems theory in enhancing interpretive consistency in mixed research."

They will present the paper as part of an invited symposium next year at the annual conference of the American Educational Research Association in Philadelphia.
