Urologist to Give Talk on 'Kidney Stones: Epidemiology and Cost'

FAYETTEVILLE -- Dr. Yair Lotan, a professor of urology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, will speak at noon Wednesday, Nov. 13, in the Graduate Education Building auditorium, Room 166, on the University of Arkansas campus.

The lecture is part of the Hydration Lecture Series presented by the Human Performance Laboratory in the College of Education and Health Professions. The title of the lecture is "Kidney Stones: Epidemiology and Cost." 

Lunch will be served after the lecture. RSVP is required by emailing jxa014@uark.edu. Deadline to RSVP is 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12.

Dr. Lotan has published more than 250 peer reviewed articles and has been invited to write multiple book chapters, reviews and editorials. He leads the disease-oriented team for genitor-urinary malignancies at the UT Southwestern Simmons Cancer Center and is a member of the American Urological Association National Ultrasound Faculty and former president of the Society of Urologic Oncology Young Urologic Oncologist Steering Committee. He is also on the steering committee of the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network.
