FAYETTEVILLE -- The Student Body Secretary, Lindsey Bach, has recently resigned to take another leadership position on campus. As of yesterday morning, ASG president Bo Renner accepted her resignation, effective which is effective at 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8.

The secretary for the Associated Student Government is one of the highest leadership positions a student can hold within the organization, our institution.

An extensive search has been conducted for Ms. Bach's replacement, and Austin Cole has been selected, to assume his duties at 8 a.m. Nov. 11.

"Since Austin Cole's appointment on our Executive Cabinet as the Director of Athletics on May 10, 2013, no one has exhibited the qualities of dedication and hard work more", said Renner. "The passion that Mr. Cole brings to each and every meeting, event, or activity is second to none. And although there are a lot of people who would appreciate this appointment and perform up to my expectations, I feel no one would exceed them with the amount of energy and initiative that Mr. Cole has proven to put forth. Quite simply: Austin Cole's commitment is immeasurable, his loyalty in unwavering, and his record speaks for itself. He has shown that he not only has what it takes to do the role of Secretary, but do it very, very well."
