Brain Research Topic of Public Lecture

Diane M. Beck of the Beckman Institute at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign will discuss her brain research at 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, in a lecture sponsored by the department of psychological science in the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences.

Beck's talk, "Our Proficient but Limited Visual Brain" will be in Memorial Hall, Room 114. The event is part of the department's Human Neuroscience Speaker Series.

Beck is an associate professor of psychology whose research interests include cognitive neuroscience, attention and visual perception.
