Royals Official to Discuss Sport Management Nov. 1

Wes Engram, senior director of corporate partnerships for the Kansas City Royals, will speak Nov. 1 on the University of Arkansas campus.

The Recreation and Sport Management Majors Club in the College of Education and Health Professions invites other students, faculty, staff and the public to the question-and-answer session with Engram. It will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, in Room 311 of the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Building.

Engram will discuss his career path, challenges facing corporate sponsorship activation in professional sports, and the impact a winning team has on his position.

He has more than 12 years of progressive sales and corporate partnership experience in professional sports. His resume includes positions with the Memphis Redbirds, Atlanta Falcons, Tampa Bay Rays and the Royals, where he has worked since May 2010. Engram is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia.
