Autism Programs Featured in Annual Colleague Magazine
Programs in the College of Education and Health Professions at the University of Arkansas that serve children with autism and their families are the subject of the cover story of this year’s Colleague magazine.
The college offers education and training through academic programs, intervention services for children and support services for university students with autism spectrum disorders.
The 2013 edition of the Colleague magazine is available in print and online. The magazine is printed once a year and the news website is updated regularly.
Other stories in the current edition include research by an Honors College student into imitative behavior of children, the first year of the college’s Arkansas Teacher Corps, a nursing student’s work at a local hospital to help patients with congestive heart failure and a professor and her students’ research into sexual behavior.
Additional features describe University Recreation programs, speakers who visited the college in the past year and a scholarship established in memory of George Denny, a professor of educational statistics and research methods who died in June.
