Do you love the YOU of A? Are you passionate about making sure future Razorbacks have the same great college experience you're having?  If so, consider serving on the Class Gift Council!

Each year, the freshman, sophomore, junior and senior classes come together to lead a campuswide effort that benefits current and future Razorbacks and their alma mater. Members of the Class Gift Council lead their respective classes in philanthropy education and show their peers the importance of giving back.

Council members are required to attend monthly meetings, give at least one Class Gift presentation to a student organization and encourage philanthropy to the University of Arkansas among other students. There are 10 spots open on the council.

To apply, visit classgift.uark.edu, complete the application and turn it in at University House (1002 W. Maple St.). The deadline for Class Gift Council applications is 5 p.m. Sept. 20. Each student who applies by the deadline will be interviewed by a panel of university representatives the week of Sept. 23-27.

If you would like more information on the Class Gift initiative, please contact Shanna Bassett in the office of annual programs at 575-3238 or by e-mail, slbasset@uark.edu.
