Integrated Master of Accountancy Program Welcomes Largest Ever Cohort
The Sam M. Walton College of Business Accounting Department welcomed 26 students into the integrated Master of Accountancy program. These students applied for admission at the end of their junior year through the Graduate School of Business.
This five-year plan allows students to earn their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in accounting and their Master of Accountancy degree concurrently. Upon completion of the Walton College integrated Master of Accountancy program, the student will have met the academic requirements needed to sit for the certified public accountant exam in the state of Arkansas.
This year's cohort is the largest in program history. Over 95 percent of these students already have internships secured with employers that include Walmart, Tyson, KPMG, Deloitte, PWC, Ernst and Young and Grant Thornton.
