Malshe Delivers Keynote talk in Prestigious Global Production Engineering Forum
Ajay Malshe, Distinguished Professor and 21st Century Endowed Chair Professor in mechanical engineering, delivered the keynote talk of the 2013 CIRP General Assembly in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The subject of his talk was "bio-inspired functional surfaces for advanced applications." Eminent world manufacturing experts acknowledged outstanding academic contributions and he received multiple compliments. This keynote was due to a multi-year peer-reviewed publication, a result of work in the past two years and including 350 plus references, he published as the lead author with his co-authors across the world.
CIRP is the world leading organization in production engineering research and is at the forefront of design, optimization, control and management of processes, machines and systems. The Academy has restricted membership based on demonstrated excellence in research and has some 600 academic and industrial members from 50 industrialized countries.
