CSES Club Wins National Award for Sustainability Video

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Crop, Soil, and Environmental Sciences Undergraduate Club won third place in the Gateway to the Future video contest sponsored by the American Society of Agronomy. The two and a half minute video, "Students for a Sustainable Future," can be viewed at http://bit.ly/18s55UC.

The project was led by Cory Johnson, Lydia Campbell and Julia Allen, who were assisted by several other club members. The club received a $2,000 award from the ASA for its work.  

The American Society of Agronomy challenged students to create videos about careers in agronomy, crops, soils or environmental sciences. The contest was developed by the Agronomic Science Foundation and supported by a private donor and the Mosaic Company Foundation.
