Walton College to Host Block Party Aug. 28

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Sam M. Walton College of Business is hosting its 21st annual Walton College Block Party from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, at Shollmier Plaza, to welcome students to campus.
"We've got a fantastic group of students joining us this year," said Dean Eli Jones. "The block party is a fun way to introduce ourselves and welcome them to their new home."
Students, faculty and staff will enjoy free hot dogs, pizza, frozen custard and drinks, along with music and informational booths set up in the plaza courtyard. Organizations and clubs available to Walton College students will participate in the event.
The block party is made possible through sponsors Pepsi, Eureka Pizza, Shake's Frozen Custard, Frito Lay and Marvin's IGA Farmington.
