U of A Sorority to Hold Memorial Service for Two Students

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Members of the Delta Delta Delta sorority at the University of Arkansas will host a memorial service to celebrate the lives of Rachel Nicole Swetnam and William Lewis “Trey” Varner. The two students were killed Tuesday, May 14, in a boating accident. Members of the sorority, family and friends remember both students as kind and loving people, and many on campus have been touched by their loss.
The service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, in the Verizon Ballroom of the Arkansas Union. The memorial is open to the public and all are welcome to attend.
A private gathering for Tri Delta members and the family of Rachel and Trey will be held at the Tri Delta House on campus immediately following the service. The Tri Delta chapter along with friends and family of both Rachel and Trey are extremely grateful for the support received from the University of Arkansas Office of Student Affairs and the entire Greek community.
