Delays in Listserv Message Delivery

IT Services has addressed an issue with significant delays in delivering messages sent to university Listservs, which started late on Thursday, April 18. Delayed Listserv messages were delivered on Monday around 10 a.m., and normal Listserv functions have been restored.

Although Listserv messages were processed and archived in order, the routing of messages was slowed due to an issue with email that developed in early April when a sudden increase of incoming malicious email caused delays.

Planned RazorVault maintenance also took place last weekend, but users on the RazorVault Listserv were not notified in a timely fashion due to this issue.
