University of Washington Professor to Discuss Decisions Based on Imperfect Data

Maria Perez, assistant professor of policy analysis at the University of Washington, will deliver a lecture Friday, March 29, on the University of Arkansas campus titled “Making Decisions About Teachers Based on Imperfect Data.”

Perez will speak at noon in Room 343 of the Graduate Education Building. Her lecture is part of the series sponsored by the department of education reform. The lecture is free and open to the public. Visit the lecture page to RSVP for lunch by Wednesday, March 27.

Perez recently published a paper titled “Highly Successful Schools: What Do They Do Differently and at What Cost?” which can be found in the Education Finance and Policy Journal, volume 3, issue 1.
