Physics Professor to Deliver Plenary at Symposium on Excellence in Teaching Mathematics and Science
Gay Stewart, professor of physics, will be one of two plenary speakers for the 2013 Chicago Symposium on Excellence in Teaching Mathematics and Science: Research and Practice.
During the past 14 years, more than 1,000 faculty and graduate students representing over 150 institutions have participated in the symposia. The Chicago Symposium is a forum for faculty and graduate students in education, mathematics, and science devoted to improving teaching and learning of mathematics and science.
These interdisciplinary forums bring together people from universities, 4-year colleges and 2-year colleges.
