SharePoint 2010 Now Available

IT Services announces the release of SharePoint 2010, a web-based application that supports collaboration for teams and departments at the University of Arkansas. Using SharePoint, faculty and staff can share and access documents from anywhere, create web pages, manage projects, and communicate through online forums.

IT Services provides SharePoint sites to departments and registered student organizations at no charge. SharePoint 2010 features include calendar and email sharing through SharePoint or Exchange, web forms and surveys, multimedia libraries that include streaming video, and a University of Arkansas template option.

Existing SharePoint sites will be migrated to SharePoint 2010 over the next three months. Learn more about SharePoint or request a site at http://its.uark.edu/sharepoint.
