A Winter Storm Warning has been forecast for Northwest Arkansas Wednesdayand hours Thursday, with snow and ice accumulations possible. University officials will assess weather conditions as they develop.

If a decision is made to cancel classes and close offices or delay classes and office openings messages will be sent through the inclement weather message system. Text, phone and email messages will be sent, beginning at approximately 5:30 a.m.  To receive these messages members of the campus community must be signed up in either ISIS (for students) or BASIS (for faculty and staff). Please make sure your emergency message designations are accurate and up to date.

The university will also post information to the university home page and a weather message will be available on the Weather Hotline at 575-7000.

If the weather is not severe enough to warrant postponing or canceling university classes and operations no message will be sent.
