FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The third annual Bumpers College Bonfire was held at Agri Park Thursday evening to welcome students back to campus for the spring semester.

The event, sponsored by the Bumpers College Ambassadors, was also a fundraiser for the Full Circle Campus Food Pantry. Students were asked to bring spare change for donations with the event generating close to $120 for the student-run emergency food assistance program. Biological and agricultural engineering students won the departmental contest by donating $30.91 to win a meal catered by Einstein Bros. Bagels.

More than 100 students and friends of the college attended the event and enjoyed s’mores and hot chocolate.

The ambassadors are a student-led group focused on connecting students with each other and getting them involved in the college.
