Registration Open for Human Resource Program for Exam Preparation and Professional Development
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Registration is now open at the University of Arkansas Global Campus for a 12-session program for human resource professionals preparing for certification exams or seeking to enhance their skills and knowledge.
The Society for Human Resource Management Learning System sessions will be offered 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, Feb. 21 through May 9, live online or in classrooms in Rogers, Harrison and Hot Springs. Online registration is available at Global Campus.
The classes are designed for people seeking continuing professional development and a broad overview of the field. The program is also a tool for those preparing to take the Professional in Human Resources or the Senior Professional in Human Resources certification exam.
Face-to-face seating is limited. The classroom locations include the Global Campus facility in Rogers, 3300 Market St., Suite 402, 25 seats; National Park Community College, 101 College Dr., Hot Springs, 28 seats; or North Arkansas College, Durand Conference Center, National Bank of Green Forest Room, 303 N. Main St., Harrison, nine seats.
This course is offered in partnership with the Society for Human Resource Management, and students can learn in a face-to-face environment or via live, interactive video-over-Internet webcast.
Participants will increase their knowledge of the field of human resources and receive current reference of human resource practices, including updates on current policies and legislation. As a certification preparation tool, the program has a measurable track record of success for those qualified to sit for the exam. Visit www.hrci.org for 2013 exam costs and application dates.
The course cost of $1,200 includes 12 class sessions, the Learning System books, access to Blackboard Collaborate, an unlimited number of practice tests on www.learnhrm.com, and all recorded sessions. Please note the course investment does not cover registration for certification exams.
