Dream B.I.G. Southwest Arkansas would like to encourage you to consider the volunteer opportunity below as a possibility to have a rewarding spring break by sharing your talents to serve a community and change lives!

Applications are now available for Dream BIG Southwest Arkansas 2013 Mentors.

Dream BIG Southwest Arkansas is a girls' empowerment day camp that occurs in Texarkana, Ark. The student mentors will facilitate a four-day "day camp" for girls in the Southwest Arkansas region that focuses on "Girl Empowerment." Students will assist with developing the curriculum, lead lessons, play games, and lead team building activities with the girls. University Housing coordinates the Dream BIG Southwest Arkansas day camp with the Silas H. Hunt Community Development Corporation and other volunteers in the Texarkana and Ashdown area.

Applications should be returned to University Housing at 410 Arkansas Avenue (across from Carnall Hall). Questions about the Dream BIG Southwest Arkansas trip can be sent to fperrod@uark.edu.
