German Consul General to Visit University of Arkansas

On Thursday and Friday, Jan. 17 and 18, Klaus-Jochen Gühlcke, consul general of the Federal Republic of Germany, will visit the University of Arkansas.

He will hold a public lecture on the transatlantic relationship between the two countries on Thursday, Jan. 17, from 3-4 p.m. in Old Main 417. Consul Gühlcke has served in the diplomatic corps in the Ivory Coast, Iran, Poland, Libya, France, and Slovakia and was appointed the new consul general in Houston beginning in July of 2012.
