Governor Mike Beebe has recognized the Delta Rho colony of Alpha Chi Omega on the University of Arkansas campus by declaring Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, Alpha Chi Omega Day in Arkansas.

Alpha Chi Omega first appeared on campus in 1960, and re-colonized at the University of Arkansas this fall. The Delta Rho colony will be reinstalled as an official chapter of Alpha Chi Omega on Saturday, joining more than 130 collegiate chapters, 200 alumnae chapters, and over 200,000 lifetime members nationwide.

Beebe's resolution reads, in part, "I urge my fellow citizens to acknowledge the dedicated works of this organization and their mission in finding and shaping Real.Strong.Women."
