Walton College Forms M.B.A. Advisory Board

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – An M.B.A. Alumni Advisory Board has been formed by the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas to explore ways to enhance the master of business administration programs offered by the Graduate School of Business.

The group will focus primarily on advising on methods to improve the Walton College’s M.B.A. programs – Full Time, Executive and the M.B.A. in Panama. The advisory board will advance and support the goals and strategies of the Walton College masters programs as current programs and curricula are revised and as new ones are created.

Board members will work to improve the Walton M.B.A. brand and increase alumni involvement by acting as ambassadors for the program. They will also use their experience and insight to advance the presence of the Walton College in the state, region and nation.

The board consists of Vikas Anand, Walton College M.B.A. director, who will act as chair; Marion Dunagan, the assistant dean of the Graduate School of Business, and alumni from the program.

  • Sara Davis, southeast regional manager, Topical Aesthetics, for Allergan
  • Jason Evans, director of international productivity operations at Walmart
  • Steve Fortner, category adviser for dry grocery-Sam’s Club for Unilever and co-founder and chief product officer for Spatia-Link Solutions
  • Michael Fuchs, national sales manager with Rich Products Corp.
  • Jared Greer of Medtronic
  • Dinesh Hegde, director of IS trade promotions management for Tyson Foods Inc.
  • Tami Hutchison, chief executive officer and founder of eLuminate Health
  • Jacque Martini, independent wine and spirits professional in the San Francisco bay area
  • Trisha McRoberts, senior manager for customer collaboration at McCormick
  • Mandel Samuels, director of media services at the University of Arkansas
  • Riley Shearin, director of information services at J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc.
  • Ryan Stearle, director of sales at Rawlings Sporting Goods
  • Terryn Weygandt, customer development manager at Land O’Lakes
  • Angelo Welhinda, senior consumer electronics buyer for Sam’s Club.
