Center Director Recognized as Creating a Better World Through Work and Business
Judi Neal, director of the Tyson Center for Faith and Spirituality in the Workplace at the Sam M. Walton College of Business, has been included by Good Business New York in its list of 25 women who are creating a better world through work and business.
Good Business New York recognized Neal for her commitment to ethics and corporate social responsibility, and for her pioneering leadership in the faith and spirituality in the workplace movement.
Neal is the author of Edgewalkers: People and Organizations that Take Risks, Build Bridges and Break New Ground, and co-author of the recently published book The Spirit of Project Management, written with Alan Harpham. The book examines the role of faith and spirituality in project management.
In response to receiving this recognition, Neal said, “It is an honor to be included in this group of exemplary women who are making a difference through business, and this recognition is a testament to the importance of faith and spirituality in helping to create a better world for all.”
The Tyson Center for Faith and Spirituality in the Workplace was established by a grant from Tyson Foods Inc. and the Tyson Family Foundation with matching funds from the Walton Family Charitable Support Foundation. Neal was hired as its first director in 2009.
